Risk Assessment for Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems
It is now required under `The Health & Safety at Work Act` that ventilation systems are regularly inspected to ensure they are in a clean, hygienic and safe condition. HML will carry out a detailed survey / risk assessment of our clients system(s) and prepare comprehensive reports of the current condition to satisfy these requirements. We offer a genuine nationwide service
Our service will not only highlight the type and extent of any contamination within your system but also any problems which may have caused the contamination, thereby reducing the further cleaning requirements and the associated risks of unclean ducts.
The Process
A suitably qualified surveyor from HML, will visually inspect the internal and external areas of the plant and distribution ductwork serving each identified area and compile a report for your consideration based on these areas:
- Introduction
- Summary of relevant legislation & guidance
- Scope of assessment
- Summary of findings
- A detailed photographic report
- Recommendations
- Budget costs of any remedial work
All risk assessment reports can be produced in a paper and digital format to suit your preference and we will always be pleased to discuss the findings, and their implications with you at your office.
